Application | (tert-butoxycarbonylmethyl) triphenylphosphine bromide is an organic intermediate, which can be obtained by one-step reaction of triphenylphosphine and tert-butyl bromoacetate, mainly used in laboratory research and development process and chemical production process. |
Preparation | The mixture of toluene (32L) and triphenylphosphine (3.2kg,12.1mol) was heated to 55°C under nitrogen atmosphere, and tert-butyl bromoacetate (2.85kg,14.6mol) was added below 60°C. The mixture was aged at 65°C for 4 hours, the product was separated by filtration at ambient temperature under a nitrogen atmosphere, and dried at 70°C to produce 5.28kg(94.63%) of the compound (tert-butoxycarbonylmethyl) triphenylphosphine bromide. |
